PRACTICE LOCATION and PARKING SUGGESTIONS

The practice is located on the ground floor of the Eikehoff Building, at 28 Church Street, Stellenbosch. It is conveniently located in the heart of the old historic centre of town, amongst the coffee shops, boutique retail stores, and restaurants, with a lively tourist and student vibe.

The Eikehoff Building is opposite the Basic Bistro, and next to the Oude Werf Hotel (on the left, when facing).  Enter the building, about 10m after the entrance there is a small courtyard, with seating and trees. My office is on the left, facing the courtyard, with my name on the door. Please knock on the hour, I will meet you at the door (as there is no receptionist at present).

Traffic and parking in Stellenbosch can be frustrating! Although there is plenty of street parking, with disabled bays, it can be tough to find a spot during the day. Please allow for enough time to navigate traffic and find parking, or plan ahead and park in one of the lots close by. These can be found at Stelkor, behind Checkers, inside Eikestad Mall, at Decameron, behind the Town Hall, around Die Braak, and alongside Die Laan. 

If you arrive by bicycle I can store the bike in my lobby during our session. If you arrive a little early there are some lovely eateries and coffee shops close by, to take a little time out for reflection before, or after our session.

If you struggle to find the practice, or are running a little late, please drop me a WApp, I will keep an eye out and meet you wherever you are.

I do Zoom sessions with clients in locations world wide. Some of the locations are USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, UK, Australia, UAE, Argentina, UK, Namibia, Kenya, Mauritius.

I will respond as promptly as possible, usually within 48 weekday hours. There might be occasional circumstantial exceptions, however I will do my best to reply to you in the shortest possible time.

I might be unavailable during most of the day due to the nature of my work.

Due to the nature of my work, the best time to contact me is between 8am and 9am or 4pm and 5pm. Please be so kind as to contact me by E-Mail or WhatsApp, ​via the contact information provided. I will do my best to return your message within 48 hours (work days). In the event of urgency due to crisis, please state so in order for me to reply as promptly as I am able to.

Counselling and therapy sessions are conducted on agreed upon times and days, depending on your needs at any particular stage. Sessions last for fifty minutes (can be extended to a double session by prior arrangement) and can be conducted in either English or Afrikaans, as I am fluent in both languages. I can understand and communicate in Dutch, as I have worked abroad at Dutch and Belgium clinics. My services cater for the needs of all, regardless of  nationality, gender identity, beliefs, faith, ethnicity, and culture.

You can feel safe that the sessions are totally confidential and that the ethical standards of the APA apply.

Fees are set at R750 a session*, payable at the session (SA, Africa)
